Refund & Returns Policy
JefFab Customs complies with the Australian Consumer Law.
Under the Australian Consumer Law, customers are entitled to a repair, replacement or refund if a product has a major failure or does not meet the consumer guarantees.
Nothing in this policy is intended to limit or exclude your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
Change of Mind
JefFab Customs does not offer refunds for change of mind. This includes (but is not limited to):
- Ordering the incorrect item
- Using the wrong payment account
- No longer wanting the item
- Finding the item cheaper elsewhere
- Deciding the product does not suit your needs
- No longer owning the vehicle the product was intended for
Customers are responsible for ensuring the product is suitable for their vehicle before purchasing.
Faulty or Defective Products
If you believe a product is faulty, damaged, or incorrect, please contact us as soon as possible after receiving your order.
We may request:
- Photos or videos of the issue
- Details of the vehicle and installation
- Return of the product for inspection
Once assessed, we will determine the appropriate remedy in accordance with Australian Consumer Law, which may include:
- Repair
- Replacement
- Refund
Major Failures
A product is considered to have a major failure if:
- It is significantly different from the description or sample
- It is substantially unfit for its intended purpose and cannot easily be fixed
- It is unsafe
In the case of a major failure, you may choose a refund or replacement.
Installation & Compatibility
Many of our products are designed to suit specific vehicles and configurations.
JefFab Customs is not responsible for compatibility issues caused by:
- Aftermarket modifications
- Non-standard vehicle components
- Incorrect installation
- Failure to follow installation instructions
Installation costs or third-party labour costs are not covered under this policy.
Custom or Made-to-Order Products
Products that are custom made, modified, or manufactured to a customer's request are non-refundable, unless they are faulty or do not meet Australian Consumer Law requirements.
Refund Processing
Where a refund is approved:
- Refunds will be issued to the original payment method
- Processing times may vary depending on the payment provider
- Any non-refundable payment processing fees incurred by JefFab Customs may be deducted from the refund amount where permitted by law
Returns
Products approved for return must:
- Be unused and in original condition
- Include all supplied components and packaging
- Be returned within the timeframe advised by JefFab Customs
Customers may be responsible for return shipping costs unless the product is confirmed to be faulty.
Damaged in Transit
Please inspect your order upon arrival and notify us immediately if the item is damaged during shipping or if you received the wrong item so we can resolve the issue promptly.
